Brief overview of the role:

Currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator mainly based out of our Shrivenham site, to coordinate multiple IT projects both within the company and with external customers.

The role reports to the Head of Project Management and will require travel to customer sites and other Prolinx locations as required.


Routine duties include but are not limited to;

  • Coordinating projects according to the Prolinx Project Management Procedure as set out in ISO guidelines, including preparation, completion and updating of all relevant documentation such as PIDs and work packages
  • Liaising with clients, customers, senior management and internal colleagues in a professional manner at all times
  • Acquiring and coordinating resources from Resourcing to deliver work packages
  • Communicating project expectations effectively to team members and stakeholders
  • Ensuring that all data is stored and processed according to the appropriate security classification
  • Escalating risks and issues that may adversely affect project delivery to line management
  • Updating project plans and reporting progress using the company-wide PPM tool
  • Managing strict Change Control procedures throughout the life of the project
  • Producing regular reports for both internal and external customers
  • Working with other Prolinx teams to ensure a controlled transition of projects into service

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:-

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • An understanding of project delivery processes within a fast-paced business/IT environment
  • Proven experience in providing service to customers to achieve successful project results
  • Good oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Capable of communicating with Customers at all levels through face to face meetings, telephone and email communications
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (and ideally MS Project)
  • Basic knowledge of the principles and frameworks of Service Management and ITIL
  • Knowledge of working to ISO standards

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • The ability to obtain and hold UK National Security Check (SC) clearance

Desirable Experience:

  • Working knowledge of Government security classifications
  • Project Management certification e.g. PRINCE2, AGILE, PMP, CAPM
  • ITIL Foundation
