What you’ll be doing:
A typical breakdown of your role would be:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline Windows infrastructure management.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable product delivery.
- Utilize Ansible for configuration management and automation of Windows environments.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for task automation and system management.
- Use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code (IaC) and automate the provisioning of Windows resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Apply agile methodologies to manage and deliver product increments efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automation, DevOps, and Windows technologies.
What skills and experience do you need?
Essential skills:
- Proven experience as a Windows Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and administration.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management principles
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
