PROLINX WELCOME YOU TO OUR INDUSTRY EVENT:
UK Sovereign Data, Security and Resilience in Defence and Government
Digitally enabled data for decision making and mission advantage is a critical asset of Defence and the UK government. New ways of working will allow the power of data to be exploited, enabling collaboration, enhancing decision making, and driving efficiencies across the enterprise and battlespace. While the integration of our systems and networks will result in information advantage, the cyber threat to the UK government is severe and advancing rapidly. The government classification of data centres as Critical National Infrastructure reflects the criticality of data to the nation. What do these changes in strategy and policy mean for data centres and cloud services providers supporting Defence and Government, and how should industry, Defence and government react?
“Data is now the driving force of the world’s modern economies.”
- Rt Hon. Oliver Dowden CBE MP in the ministerial forward of the National Data Strategy

“We want an ‘any/any network’. One that is capable of connecting any sensor, from any domain, from any partner to any effector. This will create that internet of military things, capable of quickly, cleanly and efficiently integrating sensors and effectors for impact.”
