The Overview
The Prolinx Deployed Bearer of Opportunity (DBoO) supports mission-critical systems, complying with MOD connectivity doctrine and HMG security standards, ensuring high availability of your critical data.
This resilient, multi-bearer, low Size, Weight, and Power (SWaP) solution is fully transportable as on-board cabin luggage, guaranteeing immediate connectivity upon arrival in the theatre for deployed personnel through its plug and play configuration.
DBoO provides a fully managed service, supported by the Prolinx ISO / IEC 20000 certified 24/7/365 service desk.
The DBoO is remotely configurable by our Technical Experts to satisfy specific deployment requirements.
It can accommodate an array of different systems, such as Ground Support Systems, secure User Access Devices (UADs), and other connected services – DBoO keeps your teams connected wherever they are.
Two versions are available: the Standard and the Lite. The Lite version has a smaller physical footprint, perfect for single users requiring local print or two individual users.
DBoO Standard is designed for 8 users or devices, expandable by utilising multiple DBoO units, and is suitable for large or small-scale deployments that require secure connectivity back onto protected networks or additional customer networks.
The solution comes with Prolinx’s premium GOLD level UK based service support features, providing up to 24/7/365 support when needed, along with security accreditation options to connect to protected networks.

FEATURES
A low SWaP, highly portable device. Including its case, it conforms to commercial airline on-board cabin dimensions.
Using secure connection technology and authentication, a two-stage Virtual Private Network (VPN) is established.
A strict firewall rule set developed in accordance with the principles of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) deploys an IPSec VPN. The DBoO firewall connects only to the Prolinx Data Centre Public IP Address from its root Virtual Domain (VDOM).
Utilising the Prolinx Assured Cloud, the authenticated devices are then permitted to the required network, resources, and applications from any remote location.
